Another chapter in the books. We are already heading into March and a lot of the road blocks that I had heading into the month have now been cleared. The largest road block that I had was I needed to formally submit my product for approval on amazon as my product is “Topical” and it requires approval before being listed. I gathered all of my documents from my supplier and kept submitting everything. Unfortunately after multiple attempts of this I had kept getting rejected. It was taking up a lot of my time and I finally went to seek professional help. I paid a consultant $289.50 to help me and after a week I was successfully approved. I was able to finally submit the listing of my product and it felt like everything was finally coming together. The website completed, my product approved, the product listing completed and then when I went to change it from sold by merchant to FBA and there was another approval that I had to get. Which is fine and it shouldn’t be an issue I just needed to submit an exception form that my product has no harmful chemicals/batteries in it. Hopefully in the next couple of days everything will be approved. At that point I can get the address of the amazon warehouse to ship my product to and place the order with my supplier.

So what was I able to accomplish during the month of February?

  • Video promo: – Fiverr – $325.50 (3 videos)
  • Amazon gate unlock – $289.50
  • Visited my supplier in Bangkok
  • Approved to sell my product on Amazon

The highlight of my month was not only getting approved to list my product on Amazon but also being able to visit my supplier in Thailand. I flew to Bangkok and took a taxi around 1 1/2 hours outside the city to view the factory. I was very pleased and satisfied with my trip and it was great to see how well the factory was run and the people were treated. So that is it! The month of March will finally be the month where I get to place my order as long as I get this final approval with Amazon. I look forward to sharing with you all next month on my plans to get my product shipped from Thailand to the states and then it’s on to my product launch and marketing strategy.
